03 School Supplies // Due the week of Oct. 1, 2014

Buenos Dias Clase!

Your homework this week is to work with the school supplies we learned in class!

Your School Supplies:

  • Go through your home school supplies and find and label (either with sticky notes or out loud):
    • Marker // Marcador
    • Scissors // Tijeras
    • Glue // Pegamento
    • Pencil // Lapiz
    • Pen // Pluma
    • Paper // Papel
Craft:
  • Now, do a craft with a parent that involves all of these different school supplies as optional tools! (It could be as simple as making an autumn picture with paper cutouts glued on, marker colors, etc)
    • However, instead of just having the materials whenever you want them, be sure to ask for them in Spanish!
      • We're using for simplicity:
        • "Yo quiero (lápiz) por favor"
        • "I want (pencil) please"
        • (Yo quiero // I want)
        • (Por favor // Please)
Let It Go
  • Have fun watching "Let It Go" in Spanish!

02 Colors and Numbers!

Hola Clase!

Your homework for this week is to complete the packet that we started in class—the one with colors and numbers!

For the Colors page, color something in the box that is the color of the Spanish word below it! For example, if the word is "Rojo" (Red) you might draw a red apple in the box.

For the Numbers page, first match the written number ("3") with the Spanish number ("tres") and then match that to the cake with the right number of candles (three candles)!

Then on the Numbers page, write out the Spanish number ("tres") next to the number.

For both activities, refer to the front page that contains the vocabulary for help.

Feel free to ask your parents for help if you're confused!
